Infiltrated Dreams

They still infiltrate your dreams, but you can't differentiate between it being one that is pleasant or one that was hijacked into a nightmare. It sparks anxiety in a way that you haven't experienced before, as if a true part of you was lost- a puzzle piece that may never return to its spot.

Utter confusion takes over the mind because feelings of such pain hardly make sense if it all wasn't meant to be anyways. And it's helpless pain that only time can cure. It's interesting how time becomes the reoccurring theme here.

The saddest part is that people don't lose each other because they were wrong for each other. They lose each other because the timing wasn't right. I don't believe in the idea that you can invest so much in someone and think that it wasn't worth the time just because it didn't work out in the end. A lot of the time people just grow apart because the timing wasn't right.

To get by, lately I've learned to take solace in the idea that life's timing is never wrong.
